It’s Like Disco Lemonade

It’s Like Disco Lemonade

Also known as, What does that mean?!?!?

I’ve been told that my eyes change intensity depending on my mood.  I’ve seen them as a light baby blue, and a deep ocean blue. [ Still trying to figure out what they mean ]

But I caught some thing in my eyes this weekend.  My eyes were a light-blue, and this weekend was a mixed bag of emotions.  I landed in Boston on Friday, got all my stuff on the bus to get to car rental.  Got the $5 upgrade to a Galante [ Mmmmm yeah ].  And I was off driving and one hour later… my weekend went from hopeful to sUCk! [ Super suck actually ] My camera bag which had all my medicine, contacts, glasses, and a very important gift where all stolen.

Oh… the pain.  [ Try getting prescriptions after hours, and with Pharmacists who were more than willing to chastise me for eating too much cake... sigh ] But the awesome moments that did happen, where wonderful.  I got to see the Plymouth Rock.  So I stood at the ocean looking for this rock out in the water… I lean over, “so where is it?”, “See those people getting their picture?”, “Yes”.. “it’s in there…”

So I looked into a fenced in area [ Okay... what the heck! it's a boulder! ]. But I do have linage to the Mayflower, so I had to check out the replica Mayflower, and that historical [ funny how hysterical and historical sound similar ] pebble.

And most importantly it wasn’t what I did, but the small amount of time that I got to spend with the one person, that I would spend 15 minutes with if that’s the only time I had. [ This must be when I saw that light-blue in my eyes ].  The rest of the day I drove all over the Massachusetts country side… Odd, if I didn’t know better I felt like I was driving on Highway 33 between West Bend and Port Washington… But without the salt in the air. And, officially, You can get turned around a whole lot easier in Mass, than you can in Wisconsin… [ And I thought that couldn't happen! ]

[ Or maybe it was like Disco Superfly ]

Speed bumps.  This is best word to describe this weekend.  It was all speed bumps.

[ Sweet, sweet speed bumps ]

But, you don’t get upset at speed bumps.  You come up to them slowly, roll over it and on you go.  Cause if speed bumps are your biggest problem… then something isn’t right.

And not only that, but every speed bump was met with smiles, and… an answer to a question that I didn’t even know I had.
